INTRODUCTION
Here in Oklahoma, summer is fading into autumn. I love this time of year. =)
I'm continuing to work on the next update of The Journal. Plus, I recently started editing a new collection of devotional prompts (which will become a new add-on, Devotional Prompts 2). I'll have more news about both the update and the add-on in the next few months.
This month's tips tell you how to remove words you may have accidentally added to your custom spell checker dictionary, and how to sign up for The Journal's affiliate sales program. There is also, as always, a new set of writing prompts.
Thank you for using DavidRM Software's The Journal!

TIPS & TRICKS
TIP: How to Remove an Incorrectly Added Word from the Spell Checker
It happens to everyone eventually: You kick off the spell check, it highlights a word, but instead of clicking on "Change" you click on "Add". Oops. Now the spell checker thinks you *want* to spell your name with 3 M's and a silent Q.
Here's how you remove words added to your custom spell checker dictionary:
1. Click on the User menu and choose User Preferences...
2. Bring up the "Spell Checker" tab.
3. Click on the "Dictionaries..." button (towards the bottom of the form).
4. Click on the custom dictionary in the list that has your login name for The Journal. (Example: J3Spell-David.adu)
5. Click on "Edit".
6. The "Added Words" tab will allow you to find and delete the incorrectly added word.
