Blowing bubbles in the front yard. In 97-degree heat.
Jenny’s parents were in town, so she and Daniel (AKA “Stretch”) had a cookout. It was a busy afternoon.

The Great Green Walnut Harvest of 2005

We went to one of the “water parks” here in Tulsa. Serene slipped and bit her lip within the first 5 minutes, but she didn’t let that slow her down at all.
Faces of Father’s Day 2005
We went to Lafortune Park as the sun was setting. More playground equipment. More ducks.
The kids & I dropped Susan off for Writers Anonymous, and then headed over to the River’s Edge. We played in the playground area, and took some pictures from the “pier”.
I’ve started taking what I call “photo walks”. So far, I’ve only walked in the evenings, towards sunset. I need to do one just after sunrise. It could happen.
This flower was taken from a distance of less than 2 feet. The skyline was taken from a distance of over 4 miles.
Riverside after dark…
Davis, Serene & I went to Riverparks to test out the tripod a bit. Then we headed down to one of the playground areas. Later in the evening, the power went out (2nd weekend in a row now). Candlelight made great shadow puppets…but was somewhat limited for taking pictures.
Mom & Dad asked me to take their picture at the park. So we made an afternoon of it.
