Trolley Shots

Posted by DavidRM on May 11th, 2008 in Travel
This evening, we took the St. Charles trolley from one end to the other. My spiffy 18-200 VR lens from Nikon made most of these shots possible. It has a vibration reduction setting designed for taking pictures from a moving vehicle. (And if I had remembered that before today, we would have pictures from the trip down. Oh, well.)

This train didn't actually stop and pick us up. We suspect that he suspected us of being terrorists from South Carolina, photographing his trolley with intent to ... uh ... board?
It's a bike rack. That's what the sign says.

New Orleans Sampler

Susan & I arrived in New Orleans last night. Here are a few of the shots we’ve taken so far. Internet access is a bit limited here, so we haven’t had time to upload a lot. But we will. Oh, yes, we will.
