The Journal 7 and Stardock’s WindowBlinds sometimes trip over each other.
If you are using WindowBlinds, and The Journal 7 is crashing with an access violation as soon as you try to run it, then you need to take this step: Go into WindowBlinds and add an exclusion for The Journal 7.
