You can write it in a chair,
You can write it over there.
You can write without a fuss,
You can rant and rave and cuss.
You can write on the computer
Be polite or make it ruder.
You can write it with a Sharpie
You can write like me, a Harpy!
You can write of love or hate-
Make it yours, it will be great!
You can write your journal tome
While away or while at home.
You can write it upside down
You can write it in my town.
You can write it in the street,
You can write it with a tweet.
You can write up on the roof,
Tell big lies or tell the troof!
Your journal is a part of you
Write if you’re glad or if you’re blue.
You can write here in The Journal–
Happy lines or thoughts infernal.
I have written fifty years,
Tons of laughter and of tears,
You can write like me, a ton…
And I’ll wish you tons of fun!
